Gulnur Ozdaglar takes used PET bottles and transforms the material into ethereal bowls, jewellery and lampshades. At first glance the items look too delicate to be true, but Ozdaglar patiently pierces the plastic (Polyethylene Terephthalate) by hand to create decorative pieces that have their uses. The bowls are meant to be used for anything that won't slip through the holes, like fruit and nuts; the jewellery is lightweight and wearable; and the many shell or petal like shapes are strung into cascading lampshades.
